Factory workers protested against a ban on the use of shopping bags by the government. Protestors assembled at The Mall Road and held protest against the decision. It may be noted that the government has already imposed a ban on the use of polythene shopping bags in Islamabad with effect from August 14 this year. Pakistan has become a 128th country to use plastic bags. The protestors demanded of lifting the ban, saying that they would become jobless with the implementation of the decision in the country.
